American Airlines Pushes For New Route To This Texas City
American Airlines has applied to the DOT for the only nonstop flight between San Antonio (SAT) and Washington Reagan (DCA), citing San Antonio's rapid growth and significant military presence. This service will enhance travel convenience and offering one-stop connections to the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Canada. The move follows a new FAA authorization allowing five new beyond-perimeter DCA flights. Viking Cruises Partners With âDownton Abbeyâ Location
In its ongoing partnership with Highclere Castle, the iconic setting for Downton Abbey, Viking has announced the opening of the 2024 Book Readersâ Awards. This competition, now in its second year, celebrates avid readers worldwide, inviting them to submit reviews of books that have inspired them. Categories range from travel and biographies to childrenâs books. Winners will be awarded at the Highclere Castle History Festival on October 6, with top prizes of ÂŁ500. Virgin Hotels has opened bookings for its first London location, Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch, set to debut on August 1, 2024.
