Happy Travel Tuesday, here are some the top trends in travel right now:

Over 18.4 million people traveled through an airport last week, according to TSA data. That's a 7.8% increase from the same time last year.

Hilton announced this week that it is set to double its lifestyle portfolio to 700 hotels within the next four years. As the summer travel season heats up, the hotel chain recently revealed some of the most searched destinations for US travelers, and provided great inspiration of where to stay:

  1. Hawaii: Grand Wailea Maui - lush gardens, holistic spa, and multiple pools.

  2. Cancun: Hilton Cancun - beachfront, family-friendly amenities, and nightly performances.

  3. London: Trafalgar St. James - rooftop views of Big Ben and London Eye.

British Airways is offering sizzling savings on flights and vacation packages to destinations like London, Europe, Dubai, and India. Highlights include round-trip Club World flights from New York to London starting at $2,549 and economy flights from San Francisco to London from $548. Customers can also save up to $600 on vacation packages, with options like round-trip flights and five nights in London from $759 per person. "There’s never been a better time to book that special trip," said Colm Lacy, Chief Commercial Officer, reflecting the trend of travelers seeking great deals on memorable experiences.

Air France is elevating the travel experience for La Première passengers at Paris-Charles de Gaulle with a newly introduced suite of exclusive services this summer. As the official airline partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the launch features dedicated check-in areas, luxurious private suites with butler service, and access to a high-end lounge offering culinary delights by Alain Ducasse and spa treatments by Sisley. Concurrently, Air France introduces Conciergerie, a comprehensive concierge service for all passenger classes, enhancing every aspect of the airport journey with options like private transfers and personalized assistance, starting June 11, 2024.

JSX, the award-winning hop-on jet service, is enhancing summer travel with nonstop flights from Dallas and newly introduced service from Denver/Boulder to Taos starting June 28, 2024. Offering a stress-free journey aboard 30-seat jets with business class amenities, JSX allows travelers to skip the usual airport hassle and enjoy quick check-ins at dedicated hangars. The service targets both adventure seekers and art lovers, making the rich culture and outdoor experiences of Taos more accessible than ever.

BermudAir, Bermuda's premier airline, has proudly launched new direct flights to Canada, enhancing its network with year-round services to Toronto and Halifax. Starting immediately, Toronto will see three weekly flights, while Halifax welcomes its first flight in over a decade this Saturday. CEO Adam Scott highlighted, "Flying to Canada marks a significant step in our strategic expansion, aimed at enhancing air service for Bermuda's residents and businesses, and providing more travel options for tourists." He further emphasized the role of these new routes in bolstering Bermuda's tourism by offering attractive vacation opportunities throughout the year.

With the sustained growth of luxury developments around the world, Habacoa is set to become North America’s largest superyacht marina and luxury residential community, showcasing design details from Zaha Hadid Architects. Opening in 2027, the project features a Yacht Club and Nightclub & Casino, each integrating sustainable technologies and innovative architectural elements. “This project will truly redefine super-yachting and luxury living,” said Ra’anan Ben-Zur, Habacoa CEO. As Saudi Arabia continues to enhance its tourism sector, Baheej Tourism Development Company has announced its first major project in Yanbu City. Covering 85,000 square meters, the waterfront development will feature a Beach Escape, Tourist Activation Center, and a Lifestyle Hotel, with a fourth component to be unveiled later.
